Squid Game 3 Trailer Released! Number 456 Lee Jung-jae Wakes Up from Coffin, Baby’s Cry Terrifies

“Squid Game” Season 2 returned in December last year, breaking multiple records, including: setting the record for the highest number of views in the first week of the series, and entering the “Top 10 Most Popular Non-English Series” list within 3 days. Following the heart-stopping finale of Season 2, Season 3 will be globally released on June 27th, with the trailer released, leaving fans highly anticipating.
Actor Lee Jung-jae, portraying “Number 456” Seong Gi-hun, is once again pushed into the brutal and bloody core of the game, determined to completely destroy this test of humanity. However, still plagued by the betrayal and trauma of his closest ally, “Number 390” Seong Gi-hun will face even more daunting challenges this time – the game’s “mastermind” who once disguised himself as Number 001 lurking within the resistance force reappears, triggering a new round of dangerous challenges.
The opening of the official teaser trailer sees a pink guard carrying a coffin specially prepared for eliminated players, transporting it to the contestants’ resting area. Players open the boxes suspiciously, only to find Seong Gi-hun lying inside. As he wakes up, the audience is drawn into a brand new game: a giant gashapon machine slowly turns, red and blue balls fall, players hold the balls and face each other, symbolizing fate determining the next level.
Several familiar faces return: the game’s “mastermind” (Lee Byung-hun), detective Hwang Jun-ho (Wi Ha-joon), as well as Number 333 Nam Il (Yoon Seong-won), Number 388 Da-hoo (Kang Ha-na), Number 120 Hyeon-joo (Park Seung-jun), Number 007 Yong-sik (Ryoo Seung-ryong), Number 149 Jin-soo (Kang Eun-soo), Number 222 Jun-hee (Cho Roe-rye), Number 125 Min-su (David Lee), Number 124 Nam-gwi (Ryu Jae-yun), and pink guard Kang Ha (Park Gwi-young).
